The Lian Li Lancool 217 is a mid-tower case designed for ATX-class builds with an emphasis on ready-to-use ventilation and compatibility with large components. The chassis is constructed from steel and features a 4.0 mm tempered glass side panel with decorative wooden accents. The dimensions are 482×238×503 mm. The case supports motherboards in ATX, Micro-ATX, Mini-ITX, E-ATX (up to 280 mm wide), and SSI-EEB (up to 330 mm wide) formats. It also provides specific support for back-connect motherboards in ATX and Micro-ATX formats for hidden cable management. Out of the box, five fans are installed: two front fans measuring 170×170×30 mm (1550 RPM, up to 142.56 CFM, 3.34 mmH₂O), two 120 mm fans above the power supply shroud (1900 RPM, 66.9 CFM, 1.6 mmH₂O), and one 140 mm rear fan (1800 RPM, 81.3 CFM, 2.4 mmH₂O). Additional mounting locations are provided at the front for 3×140 or 3×120 fans, at the top for 3×120 or 2×140, above the shroud for up to 3×120, below the shroud for 2×120, and at the rear for 140 or 120 mm fans. The case supports top-mounted radiators in 360, 280, or 240 mm sizes. The maximum graphics card length is 380 mm, and the CPU cooler height can reach up to 180 mm. The case includes 7 expansion slots and an adjustable GPU anti-sag support. The power supply can be installed in two orientations: standard ATX orientation up to 220 mm or rotated up to 180 mm. Storage drives mount behind the motherboard tray (up to 2×2.5"), in the drive cage, and on the power supply shroud (1×2.5"). The front panel includes 2 power buttons, 2×USB 3.0, 1×USB Type-C, and an audio jack. Dust filters at the front and bottom are removable and magnetic. The package includes a hub for 6 PWM fans and 4 5V ARGB connectors.
