Spec sheets and forum threads weren't cutting it.
Our founders kept watching friends spend three weekends researching CPUs, scraping compatibility tables, and second-guessing PSUs — only to lose another weekend assembling the box and praying it'd POST. The information was out there. It was just nowhere helpful.
BuildBox started as a side project that put a genuinely simple builder, real compatibility rules, and a real workshop in one place. A year later it's the way we think custom PCs should be sold.
Three principles, one product.
Compatibility lives in the database.
We don't bolt rules into UI code. Every constraint is data, so the same check works in the builder, at checkout, and in the workshop.
Honest about trade-offs.
We tell you when a part is fine but not great, when a cheaper one is good enough, and when our recommendation is just opinion. The builder is a tool, not a sales funnel.
Local first.
Prices in hryvnia, delivery by Nova Poshta, support in Ukrainian. We chose Kyiv because that's where we are and where most of our customers are.

Our office and assembly workshop are both in Kyiv. Every system we ship is built, tested, and burned-in here before it goes out. Pickups by appointment.
