Limited Warranty

BuildBox stands behind every system it assembles. This Limited Warranty sets out what we cover, for how long, and how to make a claim. It is in addition to — and does not limit — the rights you have as a consumer under Ukrainian law.

1. At a glance

Two years parts and labour. Free pickup and return delivery within Ukraine. Repair, replacement, or refund — your choice when a defect cannot be repaired.

2. What we cover

Defects in materials and workmanship in the build we shipped to you, including: failed assembly, dead-on-arrival components, premature component failure under normal use, and defects in our cable management or thermal-paste application.

Individual components may also carry separate warranties from their manufacturers, which we will help you claim under section 9.

3. Warranty period

The warranty starts on the date the carrier first delivers your build and runs for 24 months. Components replaced under warranty are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period (or 90 days, whichever is longer).

4. What we don't cover

We don't cover damage caused by accident, drops, liquid spills, power surges where a surge protector wasn't used, modification of the build by someone other than BuildBox, overclocking outside manufacturer-validated profiles, normal cosmetic wear, or use outside the build's design specification.

We also don't cover consumables (thermal paste re-applications after the first year, dust filters, fan bearings beyond their rated life) or damage caused by force majeure.

5. How to file a claim

Email warranty@buildboxapp.com with your order number, a short description of the issue, and — if it helps — a photo or short video. Our team will reply within one business day.

6. What happens next

We may ask a few diagnostic questions to rule out simple causes. If the issue looks like a warranty case we'll arrange free pickup with Nova Poshta, diagnose the system at our workshop, and update you at every step.

Most claims are resolved within 7 business days of pickup.

7. Repair, replacement, refund

Where the defect is repairable, we'll repair the system. Where the defective part can be swapped, we'll replace it with the same part or one of equivalent or better specification. Where neither is possible we'll refund the price of the affected part — or the full system, if the system as a whole is no longer fit for purpose.

8. Shipping during warranty service

Pickup, return shipping, and insurance during warranty service are at our cost when the claim is accepted. If the diagnosis shows the issue is not a warranty case we will tell you the cost of return shipping before sending the system back.

9. Manufacturer warranties

Where a defective part has its own manufacturer warranty that is longer or more favourable than ours, we will help you claim under that warranty as a courtesy, even after our two-year period has ended.

10. Your statutory rights

This Limited Warranty does not affect any rights you have as a consumer under Ukrainian law, including the Закон "Про захист прав споживачів". Where a statutory right gives you more, the statutory right wins.
