Terms of Service

By accessing or using buildboxapp.com you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you can enter into a binding contract, and that you accept these Terms in full.

If you do not accept any part of them, please stop using the service.

BuildBox lets you design custom personal computers, check parts for compatibility, place orders for assembled systems, and track delivery.

We operate in Ukraine, ship within Ukraine, and price all goods in Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH) unless otherwise stated.

You can use the builder without an account, but to save builds, place orders, or contact support you need to sign in. We support Google, GitHub, and email magic-link sign-in.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. Notify us promptly at security@buildboxapp.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Submitting an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted only when we send a confirmation email and reserve the parts.

Prices, availability, and lead times shown on the build page may change before an order is placed. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example, when a part is mispriced, out of stock, or suspected fraudulent.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, including cards, instant bank transfer, and selected installment plans through our payment partners.

Payment is processed by third-party payment service providers. BuildBox does not store full card numbers.

We ship by Nova Poshta and other carriers shown at checkout. Estimated delivery dates are shown for each method but are not guaranteed.

Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier hands the parcel over to you or your authorised recipient.

You may cancel free of charge before assembly starts. After we have begun assembling your build, custom labour fees may apply.

Your statutory rights under Ukrainian law (including Закон "Про захист прав споживачів") continue to apply in addition to anything in this section.

Each system we assemble carries our two-year limited warranty on parts and labour. The full terms are set out in our Limited Warranty document.

Individual parts may also carry separate manufacturer warranties, which we will help you claim.

You retain ownership of the builds, photos, and notes you create. By making a build public — for example by sharing a build link or posting it to the community — you grant BuildBox a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the service.

You must not upload content that infringes someone else's rights or breaks the law.

BuildBox, the BuildBox logo, the user interface, and the underlying software are our property and are protected by intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

Third-party brand names and model names shown in the builder belong to their respective owners and are used for compatibility purposes.

You agree not to: misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or probe it without authorisation, scrape it at unreasonable rates, use it to break the law, or use it to harass others.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.

Other than the Limited Warranty and the consumer rights you have under Ukrainian law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". Compatibility checks, performance estimates, and AI-generated suggestions are guidance, not a guarantee.

To the extent permitted by law, BuildBox is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You can close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, or if we are required to by law.

Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — for example, intellectual property and liability — continue to apply.

We may update these Terms when our service changes or when the law requires it. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.

If the change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Kyiv, without prejudice to any consumer rights you have under your local law.
