A standout feature of the fan is the guide rails on the outer edge of the blades, which optimize airflow for the blade positioned behind. The noise-reduction design elements of the Noctua NF-A14 PWM are present not only on the moving parts but also on the base. Thanks to the stepped construction of the internal part of the base housing, incoming airflow from the edge is evened out in an arc shape and passes through the blades with minimal disruption. Triangular notches on the inner wall of the base direct excess airflow in the desired direction, reducing air resistance. The mounting corners of the Noctua NF-A14 PWM fan are equipped with rubber inserts that dampen vibration during operation. The wires are bundled in a sheath, so during installation you won't need to untangle a messy bundle.
