Intel Core i3-8100 (BX80684I38100)

The Intel Core i3-8100 (BX80684I38100) is an updated Coffee Lake generation processor. Unlike the previous generation i3, this processor features full 4 cores running at 3.6 GHz. Manufacturing uses an advanced 14 nm process technology. The processor supports DDR4 memory with frequencies up to 2400 MHz. The socket for motherboard connection is Socket 1151; however, older motherboards with this socket are not supported. The thermal design power is just 65 W, allowing comfortable temperatures even with a standard boxed cooler. The processor includes an integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 graphics core, which according to the manufacturer is perfectly sufficient for comfortable 4K video playback.
