The Acer Predator GM7000 is a line of internal M.2 2280 SSDs designed for desktop PCs, laptops, and compatible gaming consoles, built on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with NVMe 1.4 support. The series covers capacities of 512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB, making them suitable for use as system drives or for installing games, demanding applications, work projects, and large file libraries. Maximum read speeds reach up to 7400 MB/s across the entire lineup, while write speeds vary by capacity: up to 3400 MB/s for the 512 GB model, up to 6400 MB/s for 1 TB, and up to 6700 MB/s for the 2 TB and 4 TB variants. DRAM cache capacity also scales with drive size: 1 GB for 512 GB and 1 TB models, 2 GB for 2 TB, and 4 GB for 4 TB. Random access performance delivers up to 540K/900K IOPS on the entry-level model and up to 1350K/1150K IOPS on the highest capacity, which is essential for rapid system boot times, game loading, and multitasking performance. The drive features a 12-nm 8-channel controller, dedicated DRAM cache, 4K LDPC ECC, AES encryption, and a graphene thermal pad to reduce temperatures under load.
