The Acer Predator GM7000 is a line of internal M.2 2280 SSDs for desktop PCs, laptops, and compatible consoles, built on the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface with NVMe 1.4 support. The series includes models in 512 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities, making it suitable for use as a system drive or for installing games, demanding applications, work projects, and large file libraries. The entire line offers a maximum read speed of up to 7400 MB/s, while write speeds vary by capacity: up to 3400 MB/s in the 512 GB version, up to 6400 MB/s in 1 TB, and up to 6700 MB/s in the 2 TB and 4 TB models. DRAM cache capacity also scales with storage: 1 GB in 512 GB and 1 TB models, 2 GB in 2 TB, and 4 GB in 4 TB. For random operations, the Acer Predator GM7000 delivers up to 540K/900K IOPS in the entry-level version and up to 1350K/1150K IOPS in the high-capacity versions, which is essential for rapid system boot times, game loading, and multitasking performance. The design features a 12 nm 8-channel controller, independent DRAM cache, 4K LDPC ECC, AES encryption, and a graphene thermal pad for temperature reduction under load.
