The Acer RE100 is a SATA SSD line designed for upgrading older and mainstream systems, available in two form factors: 2.5-inch SATA III drives and M.2 2280 SATA III models. This flexibility allows the Acer RE100 to be used in laptops and desktop PCs with traditional 2.5-inch bays as well as in compact systems equipped with SATA M.2 slots. The Acer RE100 series is built on 3D NAND technology and supports TRIM, S.M.A.R.T., ECC, wear leveling, and proprietary firmware for backup and maintenance functions. It is designed for everyday use with an emphasis on compatibility and straightforward storage expansion. The 2.5-inch line offers capacities ranging from 128 GB to 4 TB, while the M.2 SATA variant is available from 128 GB to 1 TB. Maximum sequential speeds reach approximately 560 MB/s for reads and up to 529 MB/s for writes on 2.5-inch models, while the M.2 versions perform at up to 560/520 MB/s depending on capacity.
