The Kingston XS1000 is a line of compact external solid-state drives designed for fast daily file transfers, backups, and storage of photos, videos, games, and work archives. The Kingston XS1000 series offers capacities of 1 TB and 2 TB, available in two housing colour variants—Black and Red. The drives are built on 3D NAND technology and feature a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, delivering read speeds of up to 1050 MB/s and write speeds of up to 1000 MB/s. The Kingston XS1000 ships with a USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable on the host side and a USB Type-A to USB Type-C adapter, ensuring compatibility with both modern and legacy devices. The housing combines metal and plastic construction, with consistent physical dimensions across the entire line: 69.54 × 32.58 × 13.5 mm and weighing 28.7 g, making it convenient for everyday portability in a bag or pocket. The operating temperature range is 0 to 40 °C, while the storage temperature range is -20 to 85 °C.
