The Lexar NM620 is a line of internal SSD drives in M.2 2280 form factor, designed for upgrading laptops and desktop PCs. The series enables transition from SATA solutions or hard drives to the faster NVMe format without the cost of PCIe Gen4 models. The Lexar NM620 operates through a PCIe Gen3x4 interface and supports the NVMe 1.4 protocol, making it suitable for system drives, software installation, games, work projects, photo and video files, and overall acceleration of operating system and application loading. The lineup includes capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB. Maximum sequential read speeds reach up to 3500 MB/s, while write speeds vary depending on drive capacity and can reach up to 3000 MB/s in higher-capacity versions. The series uses 3D TLC NAND. The drive features energy-efficient operation, shock resistance up to 1500G, vibration resistance, an MTBF rating of 1.5 million hours, and compact dimensions of 80 × 22 × 2.25 mm with a weight of approximately 9 g, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of modern platforms.
