The Micron 7500 PRO is a datacenter-class NVMe SSD series in U.3 form factor (2.5 inches, 15 mm thick) with PCI Express Gen4 x4 interface and backward compatibility with U.2, designed for servers and systems requiring hot-swappable storage. The Micron 7500 PRO series supports NVMe 2.0b and NVMe-MI 1.2b, up to 128 namespaces, 512 or 4096-byte sector size configuration, SMART monitoring, and firmware updates with activate without reset capability. The series is declared compliant with OCP 2.0 Datacenter NVMe standards and includes TCG Opal 2.01 security and digitally signed firmware. Available capacities span 960 GB, 1920 GB, 3840 GB, 7680 GB, and 15,360 GB, allowing selection of drives to match varying storage density and workload profiles. Sequential read performance at 128 KB is rated at 6800–7000 MB/s in steady-state, while sequential write varies by capacity: from 1400 MB/s for 960 GB up to 5900 MB/s for 7680–15,360 GB. Random 4 KB read performance reaches 800K–1.1M IOPS, random 4 KB write ranges from 85K–250K IOPS, and mixed 70/30 read/write workloads achieve up to 530K IOPS. Typical latency for 4 KB QD1 is approximately 70 microseconds for reads and 15 microseconds for writes; the 99th percentile is specified at 80/65 microseconds. The Micron 7500 PRO series endurance rating is 1 DWPD with TBW scaling from 1752 TB for 960 GB to 28,032 TB for 15,360 GB. Power supply: 12 V ±10% and 3.3 V AUX ±10%; power consumption in idle mode is approximately 5 W, up to 12.3–15.5 W during reads, and up to 7.3–18.3 W during writes. Operating temperature range is 0…+70 °C; drive dimensions are 100.45×70.10×15.00 mm.
