The PATRIOT P300 is a line of internal NVMe SSDs in M.2 2280 form factor (M-key) designed for upgrading PCs and laptops with PCIe support. All PATRIOT P300 drives operate through the PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and use a DRAMless architecture with HMB (Host Memory Buffer) support, allowing system RAM to be utilized for address mapping tables. This approach maintains compact size and energy efficiency. The series is typically available in capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB (with 128 GB appearing in some shipments). Declared performance depends on capacity: sequential read speeds up to 2100 MB/s and write speeds up to 1650 MB/s in higher-capacity versions, while lower-capacity models have reduced speeds that should be considered when selecting for specific tasks. For small file operations, random access performance reaches hundreds of thousands of IOPS, accelerating OS, game, and application launches while reducing latency during multitasking. The PATRIOT P300 incorporates error correction (ECC) mechanisms and data integrity protection technologies, with an operating temperature range specified at 0–70°C. Endurance is measured by the TBW parameter and for the PATRIOT P300 line can reach up to 960 TB depending on capacity and revision, making it suitable for systems with regular writes and active caching workloads.
