PATRIOT P300 is a line of internal NVMe SSDs in the M.2 2280 form factor (M-key), designed for upgrading PCs and laptops with PCIe support. All PATRIOT P300 drives operate through the PCIe Gen3 x4 interface and use a DRAMless (DRAM-free) architecture with HMB (Host Memory Buffer) support, allowing system RAM to be leveraged for address tables, which maintains compact size and energy efficiency. The series is typically offered in capacities of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB (with 128 GB appearing in some shipments), and the claimed performance varies by capacity: sequential read speeds up to 2100 MB/s and write speeds up to 1650 MB/s in higher-capacity models; lower-capacity variants have lower speeds, which is important to consider when selecting for specific workloads.
