The WD BLACK SN8100 is a line of internal NVMe SSDs in M.2 2280 format for desktop PCs and compatible laptops, built on the PCIe 5.0 x4 interface and aimed at the maximum performance segment for gaming, video editing, rendering, and demanding workloads. The series encompasses capacities of 1, 2, 4, and 8 TB, with both heatsink-free and heatsink-equipped variants available for each capacity. Maximum sequential read speeds reach up to 14,900 MB/s, while write speeds reach up to 14,000 MB/s in the 2 TB and 4 TB versions.
