The WD Blue SN5100 is a line of internal NVMe SSDs in M.2 2280 form factor based on PCIe 4.0, designed for work and home PCs that need a fast system drive with a wide range of capacities without stepping into the more expensive gaming segment. The WD Blue SN5100 line includes 500 GB, 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB models and is positioned by the manufacturer as a solution for everyday work scenarios, large project folders, and acceleration of AI-enabled workflows. Maximum sequential read speeds reach 7,100 MB/s and write speeds of 6,700 MB/s in the 1 TB and 2 TB models, while the 500 GB version delivers speeds up to 6,600/5,600 MB/s, and the 4 TB model reaches 6,900/6,700 MB/s.
