The ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 motherboard is designed to work with AMD processors compatible with the AM4 socket. It features two DIMM slots for DDR4 RAM with a maximum capacity of 32 GB and speeds ranging from 2133 to 3200 MHz (OC). For expansion modules, it provides 1 PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot (PCIE2 in x16 mode) and 1 PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot. Data storage is supported through 4 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s ports and 1 Ultra M.2 slot with support for M.2 SATA3 6.0 Gb/s devices in M Key 2242/2260/2280 form factors. For peripherals, the motherboard is equipped with 1 PS/2 port for keyboard and mouse, 1 D-Sub port, 1 DVI-D port, 1 HDMI port, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 4 USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, and 1 RJ-45 LAN port with activity and speed indicators (ACT/LINK LED and SPEED). Additionally, HD audio connectors are provided for line input, front speakers, and microphone.
