ASRock B550 Pro4

The ASRock B550 Pro4 is an ATX-format motherboard (30.5×24.4 cm) based on the AMD B550 chipset for AM4 socket, compatible with desktop Ryzen 3000/3000 G-Series, 4000 G-Series, 5000 and 5000 G-Series processors. CPU power delivery is implemented using an 8 Power Phase scheme with Digi Power, complemented by 24-pin ATX, 8-pin and 4-pin 12V power connectors. Memory support includes 4 DDR4 slots in dual-channel mode with a maximum capacity of 128 GB and support for XMP and frequencies up to DDR4 4733+ (OC) depending on the processor. For expansion, the motherboard features 2 PCI Express x16 slots — the first operates in Gen4 x16 mode with Ryzen Vermeer/Matisse or Gen3 with APU, the second in Gen3 x4 — as well as 2 PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. AMD CrossFireX is supported. The storage subsystem includes 6 SATA3 ports at 6 Gbps with RAID 0/1/10 support and two M.2 slots: Hyper M.2 (M2_1) up to PCIe Gen4 x4 at 64 Gbps with Vermeer/Matisse and M.2 (M2_3) supporting SATA3 or PCIe Gen3 x2 at 16 Gbps; M2_3 shares lanes with SATA3_5_6. For APU systems, video outputs include HDMI up to 4K@60 with HDR and HDCP 2.3, plus D-Sub up to 1920×1200@60. The rear panel provides PS/2, 1 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, 1 USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, 4 USB 3.2 Gen1, RJ-45 and 3 audio connectors. Networking is handled by a Gigabit Realtek RTL8111H with Wake-on-LAN and PXE support. Audio is 7.1 HD via Realtek ALC1220/ALC1200 with Nahimic. The board includes an M.2 Key-E slot for Wi-Fi/BT modules, SPI TPM-header, COM-header, 2 RGB and 2 addressable ARGB headers, and 6 fan connectors. The BIOS is 256Mb AMI UEFI with graphical interface and Instant Flash; Windows 10/11 64-bit support is stated. ASRock B550 Pro4 is an ideal foundation for builds with a single GPU, NVMe Gen4 and numerous USB and SATA devices.
