ASRock X870E Taichi

The ASRock X870E Taichi motherboard features an E-ATX form factor and is designed for processors with Socket AM5 based on the AMD X870E chipset. It supports installation of up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory with frequencies up to 8200+ MHz across four DIMM slots. Two PCI Express 5.0 x16 slots are provided for graphics cards, capable of operating in x16 or x8/x8 mode. The board includes four M.2 slots: one supporting PCI-E 5.0 x4 and three supporting PCI-E 4.0 x4. For storage devices, six SATA Revision 3.0 ports are available with support for RAID levels 0, 1, and 10. The audio system is based on the Realtek ALC4082 codec with 7.1-channel sound and optical S/PDIF output. Networking capabilities include a Realtek RTL8126 Ethernet controller with 5 Gbps bandwidth, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) module, and Bluetooth 5.4 adapter. Peripheral connectivity features two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports, five USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and two USB 2.0 ports. An HDMI output is located on the rear panel for display connection. Cooling includes heatsinks on the chipset, VRM, and M.2 slots, with support for up to eight fans. Power delivery is provided through a 24-pin motherboard connector and two 8-pin CPU connectors.
