The ASUS ROG STRIX B850-I GAMING WIFI motherboard is designed for AMD processors with the AM5 socket, including Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series. It supports dual-channel DDR5 memory with a maximum capacity of 96 GB and speeds up to 8400+ MT/s with overclocking. The board features two M.2 slots supporting PCIe 5.0 x4 interface for high-speed NVMe drives. A single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot is provided for graphics cards, equipped with Q-Release Slim functionality for easy card installation and removal. Network capabilities include an integrated Wi-Fi 7 module (802.11be) supporting 2.4/5/6 GHz frequency bands with throughput up to 2.9 Gbps, as well as a wired Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet interface. For peripheral connections, the board offers a USB 20 Gbps Type-C port, a front-panel USB 10 Gbps Type-C header, and five additional USB 10 Gbps ports. The audio subsystem is based on the ROG SupremeFX ALC4080 codec with a Savitech SV3H712 amplifier and Dolby Atmos support. For effective cooling, the board includes large heatsinks with integrated I/O shroud and high-conductivity thermal pads.
