GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X V2

The GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X V2 motherboard is designed for processors with Socket AM4 and is built on the AMD B550 chipset. The cooling system includes heatsinks on the chipset and VRM to help maintain stable operation of components. The board supports up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory at a maximum frequency of 4733 MHz through four DIMM slots. For system expansion, there are two PCI Express x16 slots: one with PCI Express 4.0 x16 interface and one with PCI Express 3.0 x16 in x2 mode, as well as three PCI Express x1 slots. The GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X V2 features two M.2 slots: one supporting PCI-E 4.0 x4/SATA3 and another with PCI-E 3.0 x4/SATA3 interface, allowing the use of fast NVMe SSD drives. For connecting SATA drives, the board also has four SATA Revision 3.0 connectors. The audio subsystem is represented by a Realtek ALC887 codec with support for 7.1-channel sound, and for network connections a Gigabit Realtek controller is used. The GIGABYTE B550 Gaming X V2 has HDMI and DVI-D video outputs that allow monitors to be connected to integrated graphics cores of compatible processors. The rear panel features USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports and two USB 2.0 ports. Additionally, the board has connectors for two internal USB 2.0 and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 supporting two Type-A ports and one Type-C port. The ATX form factor with dimensions 305x244 mm allows the board to be installed in cases of the appropriate size. Support for RAID arrays 0, 1 and 10 provides flexibility when configuring data storage systems.
