GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO

The GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO is an ATX format motherboard measuring 305 × 244 mm, built on the AMD X870E chipset with Socket AM5. It supports DDR5 memory modules up to 256 GB at frequencies up to 8000 MHz across four DIMM slots. Graphics expansion is possible through one PCI Express 5.0 x16 slot with full lane count, one PCI Express 4.0 x16 in x4 mode, and one PCI Express 3.0 x16 also in x4 mode. Power delivery uses one 24-pin connector and two 8-pin connectors. The board features four M.2 slots: three with PCI-E 5.0 x4 interface and one with PCI-E 4.0 x4. Four SATA Revision 3.0 ports are provided with support for RAID levels 0, 1, 5, and 10. The audio system uses the Realtek ALC1220 codec with 7.1-channel audio support and an optical S/PDIF output. Network connectivity is handled by a Realtek controller with 2.5 GbE bandwidth, along with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 modules. Video output is provided via HDMI. The board offers three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, two additional USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers for four ports, two USB 2.0 headers for four ports, and two USB4 ports with 40 Gbps bandwidth in Type-C form factor. The design includes a reinforced PCI-E slot, heatsinks on the VRM and chipset, M.2 SSD cooling, eight fan headers, and assembly convenience features including WIFI EZ-Plug, EZ-Latch Click, EZ-Latch Plus, and Sensor Panel Link.
