The GIGABYTE X870I AORUS PRO ICE is a Mini-ITX motherboard featuring the Socket AM5 connector and AMD X870 chipset. It supports two DDR5 memory modules with clock frequencies up to 8400 MHz and a maximum capacity of 128 GB. The cooling system includes heatsinks on the VRM and chipset, as well as three connectors for fan installation. For graphics cards and other devices, there is one PCI Express 5.0 x16 slot with full x16 bandwidth. The motherboard is equipped with two M.2 slots: one with PCI-E 5.0 x4 interface and one with PCI-E 4.0 x4 interface, plus two SATA Revision 3.0 ports with RAID 0 and 1 support. RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 support is implemented for NVMe SSD drives. The integrated Realtek 2.5GbE network controller provides wired network connectivity. Wireless interfaces include Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4. The audio system is built on the Realtek ALC4080 codec with support for 7.1-channel audio and two audio outputs. For peripheral connectivity, there is one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, two USB 2.0, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 (two ports), and one USB 2.0 (two ports) on the board. One Thunderbolt port is included. For video output, there is one HDMI connector. Power is supplied via a 24-pin motherboard connector and an 8-pin CPU connector. The board features a reinforced PCI-E slot and M.2 SSD cooling system. Technologies include WIFI EZ-Plug, EZ-Latch Plus, EZ-Latch Click, and Friendly UI.
