The GIGABYTE Z390 D motherboard is designed for 8th and 9th generation Intel Core i9, Intel Core i7, Intel Core i5, Intel Core i3, Intel Pentium, and Intel Celeron processors with LGA 1151 socket. It supports DDR4 memory up to 128 GB with frequencies ranging from 2133 to 4266 MHz via 4 DIMM slots. Expansion capabilities are provided by one PCI Express x16 slot (x16 mode), two PCI Express x16 slots (x4 mode), and three PCI Express x1 slots. Storage connectivity includes one M.2 slot (Socket 3, M key, 2242/2260/2280/22110 form factors) and 6 SATA 6 Gbps ports. Peripheral and network connectivity features PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard, an HDMI port, six USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, a Realtek GbE RJ-45 network connector (10/100/1000 Mbps), and three audio jacks.
