MSI MAG Z890 TOMAHAWK WIFI

The MSI MAG Z890 TOMAHAWK WIFI motherboard is designed for Intel Core Ultra second-generation processors with LGA1851 socket and built on the Intel Z890 chipset. It supports up to 256 GB of DDR5 RAM at speeds up to 9200 MT/s in overclocking mode and is compatible with Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. Memory slots operate in dual-channel mode and support non-ECC, unbuffered modules. Three PCIe x16 slots are provided for graphics cards and other devices: one PCIe 5.0 x16 from the processor and two PCIe 4.0 x4 from the chipset. Four M.2 slots are available for data storage: one PCIe 5.0 x4 from the processor and three PCIe 4.0 x4 from the chipset, one of which also supports SATA drives. Additionally, there are four SATA 6 Gbps ports. RAID configurations 0, 1, 5, and 10 are supported for SATA and M.2 NVMe devices. Networking capabilities include a wired Intel Killer E5000 5Gbps LAN interface and a wireless Intel Killer BE1750x Wi-Fi 7 module with Bluetooth 5.4 support. The rear panel features two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB Type-C) with DisplayPort 2.1 support, one HDMI 2.1, USB ports of various standards including USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, as well as audio outputs and Flash BIOS and Clear CMOS buttons. The power delivery system uses a 16+1+1+1 Duet Rail Power System with 90A SPS and two 8-pin power connectors for the processor. Cooling is provided by extended heatsinks, including Shield Frozr II for M.2 SSD, and thermal pads with a thermal conductivity of 7 W/m-K. The board comes with a pre-installed I/O Shield and various features to simplify assembly, such as EZ M.2 Clip and EZ PCIe Release. The form factor is ATX (243.84 x 304.8 mm). The audio subsystem is based on the Realtek ALC1220P codec and supports 7.1-channel sound with S/PDIF output. The board is compatible with Windows 11 64-bit operating system.
