The Chieftec Smart GPS-550A8 power supply delivers 550 watts of power with 80% efficiency and above. With a total output of 550 watts, the unit provides up to 110 watts across the +3.3V and +5V rails, while the +12V1 and +12V2 rails supply up to 504 watts. Power distribution to the system is handled through ATX 20+4 pin, 4+4 pin, 2×IDE, 4×SATA, 1×FDD, and 2×6+2 pin connectors. The unit operates from a 100–240V AC power source. It features active power factor correction (PFC) and a cooling system built around a 120 mm fan that produces noise levels no higher than 24.4 dB.
